The trials of being a mother

 There are days where it seems like it’s too much at times. However there are those days that seem to make it all worth it. And those are the days I cherish, she’s a wonderful child full of life and has an intoxicating personality. But there are some days where it does seem likea lot, like you wanna run away from it all get away. And when you’re significant other isn’t really much help at times it feels like your world is crumbling around you. I know some people may think of this as a complaint but motherhood isn’t the same for everyone, some of us have it hard some of us have suffered from depression. So take this as a ” I hear you” and ” I know exactly what  you mean.” At this point my ass needs a vacation there are those days where it seems like I’m moving a mile a minute at times I feel like I’m about to lose my damn mind. It’s a job that you cannot be prepared for, IN ANY WAY! No amount of books or articles can prepare you for what being a parent entails. It’s an uphill battle at best, but I must admit that having someone to share it with you is a high point. Seeing her develop into this human being who can become anything in the world. I love to see her build things and figure out who they work  it’s a truly inspirational process that I enjoy. But in closing I do say be forwarned and take heed to my words. Don’t enter into this agreement without making a conscience decision that you are mentally able to handle its requirements.

IS GOD A RACIST?

Now that I’ve your attention, I’ve been thinking lately especially after I saw a worldvision commercial in fact and I thought if GOD “loves” all his children including me why are all the minorities in this world seem to be suffering the most? I mean really think about it the majority of the world’s poorest people are in Africa a country that I believe prays for the most part, and if so why would this all mighty being allow these innocent children to suffer? I meanwhat did we ever do to GOD? For me it’s what I’ve been taught over the years in a church capacity, GOD loves everyone they tell you but why do certain people suffer? No one ever has an answer to pertinent questions such as: how did the races come about? why does GOD let bad things happen to good people? If GOD can do anything why does he let people die?

Again no answer but the question remains why do the minorities in this world seem to suffer more than the white people of this world, in the states the employment rate for the country is around 6% I believe but in the black community it’s around 15% that’s a big discrepancy if you ask me. India as well has over half a million people in poverty how is that? This is just a thought I had  the other day when just thinking on the bus and I decided to write about it, in no way am I saying that anyone’s religious beliefs are invalid I’m just questioning what I’ve been told.

The age old subject infidelity

A man will do what he wants to do regardless of his home life or how much you suck his dick. Women have to understand that sometimes men don’t even know why they cheat, but I believe they do. But in no way do I condone cheating I just believe that communication overrides everything. I think it’s so selfish to do something like that  to your kids and mark them with the guilt of them thinking that they had something to do with it. At the same time parents or bf’s and gf’s have to take responsibility, you have to talk it out before you walk it out. No matter how much you may try to get in shape or change your attitude in the bedroom you just have to understand that he isn’t interested in you anymore and you just need to move on and I know the whole yadda yadda speech we’ve been together for X amount of time but you have to face the truth. Some men like younger women and when that younger woman they marry gets old the relationship gets old. I’ve cheated on bf’s I’ve been with but it was selfish because it’s what I wanted and I was straying. I believe infidelity is a choice and at times a selfish one. But don’t let the relationship be you all, you’re everything etc. I’ve firmly believed that you should love someone enough to leave them. As I’m writing this I’m watching the Oprah interview with Whitney Houston and if she isn’t an example of you can go if you want to then I don’t who is. Remember to always love yourself first and never ever let a man walk all over you and the best remedy for a failed relationship is OUT OF SIGHT OUT OF MIND.
